職權范圍

Terms of Reference

Under the authority of the Director of UNESCO Beijing Office and under the guidance and direct supervision of the Chief of Culture Unit, UNESCO Beijing Office, the Subscriber will undertake the assignments as listed below:

Serve as project assistant to the Chief of Culture Unit of Beijing Office for the two UNESCO/Mercedes-Benz funded projects on World Heritage Sites in China, in particular the project on Post Earthquake Assistance for affected World Heritage Sites in Sichuan (Phase II).
Assist in the coordination and communication with project counterparts, Governmental partners, local partners, organizations related to these projects, donor, and with the UNESCO Headquarters;
Assist in the preparation of relevant project documents including work plans, implementation status reports, achievement reports, correspondence with the donor and the project partners, as well as other project related documents;
Assist in administrative work including drafting contracts, preparing payments, making budget revisions and other related work.
Assist in organization of project training workshops, technical exchange meetings and other related events.
Provide overall support to UNESCO Beijing Office Culture Unit: translate documents from English into Chinese and vice versa; assist in the Unit』s liaison function vis-à-vis Headquarters, Field Offices, UN Agencies, Governments, Institutions, NGOs and other partners; and provide assistance for meetings, conferences and workshops in which the Unit is involved.
