一、依 据

人事部关于印发《翻译专业资格(水平)考试暂行规定》的通知(人发[2003]21号)

二、 翻译专业资格(水平)考试等级划分与专业能力

(一)资深翻译：长期从事翻译工作，具有广博科学文化知识和国内领先水平的双语互译能力，能够解决翻译工作中的重大疑难问题，在理论和实践上对翻译事业的发展和人才培养作出重大贡献。
(二) 一级口译、笔译翻译：具有较为丰富的科学文化知识和较高的双语互译能力， 能胜任范围较广、难度较大的翻译工作，能够解决翻译工作中的疑难问题，能够担任重要国际会议的口译或译文定稿工作。
(三)二级口译、笔译翻译：具有一定的科学文化知识和良好的双语互译能力，能胜任一定范围、一定难度的翻译工作。
(四) 三级口译、笔译翻译：具有基本的科学文化知识和一般的双语互译能力，能完成一般的翻译工作。

三、资格取得办法

(一）资深翻译实行考核评审方式取得， 报名者须具有一级口译或笔译翻译资格(水平)证书；

（二）一级口译、笔译翻译实行考试与评审相结合的方式取得。

（三）二级口译、笔译翻译和三级口译、笔译翻译实行统一大纲、统一命题、统一标准的考试办法。

2、取得二级口译、笔译翻译或三级口译、笔译翻译资格(水平)证书，并符合《翻译专业职务试行条例》翻译或助理翻译专业职务任职条件的人员，用人单位可根据需要聘任相应职务。
3、二级口译、笔译翻译和三级口译、笔译翻译的相应语种实施全国统一考试后，不再进行相应语种的翻译及助理翻译专业职务任职资格的评审工作。
4、 经国家有关部门同意，获准在中华人民共和国境内就业的外籍人员及港、澳、台地区的专业人员，符合本规定要求的，也可报名参加翻译专业资格(水平)考试并申请登记。
